Terms of Service

Last updated: 4 August 2026

These Terms of Service govern your use of this website, atvantage.app, run by Vineeth Nair as a sole proprietorship ("we", "us", "our"). By using the site, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use it.

Products have their own terms

This page covers the website. Each product is a separate service with its own rules about accounts, payment, and use, so those live with the product rather than here:

Where a product's own terms differ from this page about that product, the product's terms apply.

Using this website

You are welcome to read the site, share it, subscribe to the newsletter, and write in. In return, you agree that you will:

  • use the site for lawful purposes only;
  • not scrape, copy, or bulk-download the site by automated means;
  • not attempt to break, overload, or interfere with the site or the services behind it;
  • not use the contact form to send spam, malware, or anything unlawful.

The writing on this site

The articles here are our own opinion and experience. They are shared to be useful, and they are not legal, financial, or professional advice. Nothing on this site creates a client relationship, and you should apply your own judgement before acting on anything you read.

The writing, images, and design on this site belong to us. You are welcome to quote a passage with credit and a link back. Please do not republish a whole piece as your own or feed the site into a product as if it were your content.

Getting in touch, and the newsletter

When you use the contact form, you are asking us to reply, and we may keep your message and your details so we can. What we keep and why is set out in our Privacy Policy.

The newsletter runs on Substack. Subscribing happens on Substack rather than here, so their terms and privacy policy cover your subscription. You can unsubscribe at any time from any email.

We link out to other websites when they are worth reading. We do not control them and we are not responsible for their content or their policies.

Availability

Vantage Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Vantage, a product of DigitalwithVineeth, a sole proprietorship run by Vineeth Nair ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using Vantage, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

They sit alongside the site terms above, which cover the website itself. Where the two differ about Vantage, these product terms apply.

What Vantage is

Vantage is a competitive intelligence tool. You give us your website and up to three competitor websites, and we produce a research report that compares them on the signals that matter for positioning: search visibility, paid presence, share of voice, strengths, gaps, and a set of strategic frameworks. Each report comes with a chat, so you can ask follow-up questions and Vantage will answer from the evidence it gathered.

Vantage is sold by the analysis. You buy analyses in advance and run them when you need them. There is no subscription and nothing renews.

Your account

You sign in with your email address through a one-time sign-in link. You are responsible for keeping access to that email secure. Do not share your account, and do not use anyone else's account.

The free analysis

Every new person gets 1 free head to head analysis, which is you plus 1 rival. The free analysis is viewable and chattable inside the app. It does not include the PDF export.

To keep the free analysis fair for everyone, we may refuse or limit it where we detect abuse, for example many free accounts created from the same source. We do not have to explain a specific refusal. This does not affect paid analyses.

Buying and payment

Paid analyses are bought in advance and held in your account balance until you run them.

  • Analyses are prepaid.
  • Analyses do not expire.
  • Analyses are not transferable to another account, and they are not exchangeable for cash.
  • You pay before an analysis starts.
  • The rate per analysis is set by how many you buy in one go, and by how many rivals each analysis compares against.

All prices are exclusive of GST. Taxes are added as applicable. Current prices are on our pricing page.

Payments are handled by Razorpay. We never see or store your card details. See our Refund and Cancellation Policy for how charges and refunds work.

The no-charge contract

You are only ever charged for an analysis that completes. If an analysis cannot run, it goes straight back into your balance automatically. Full detail is in our Refund and Cancellation Policy.

Acceptable use

When you use Vantage, you agree that you will:

  • use it for lawful business purposes only;
  • not scrape, copy, or bulk-extract the service or its outputs by automated means;
  • not resell or redistribute the raw research data as your own data product;
  • not attempt to break, overload, or reverse-engineer the service;
  • submit only websites and information you are allowed to research.

You may of course use the reports you generate in your own work, pitches, and client deliverables. The limit is on reselling the underlying raw data as a data feed.

What the reports are, and are not

Every Vantage report is created by AI. Our proprietary research engine reads the public evidence about the brands you name, cross-checks it, and writes what you see. That is what makes it fast and wide-ranging. It also means you should read every report the way you would read the work of a very fast, very well-read analyst: useful, often sharp, and still in need of your judgement before you act on it.

Vantage reports are research assistance. They are not legal, financial, or professional advice, and they are not a guarantee of any business outcome.

We label claims as verified or inferred so you can see how firmly each point is supported, and we leave a blank honest rather than fill it with a guess. Even so, the research is best-effort. Sources can be wrong or out of date, and you should apply your own judgement before acting on any finding.

Service availability

We work to keep Vantage available and running well, but we do not promise uninterrupted service. We may update, pause, or change features as the product develops.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be subject to the courts of Mumbai, India.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product and our business change. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use Vantage after a change means you accept the updated terms.
